'GTA 6' Release Date Latest News, Rumors: Rockstar To Release Game Title Between 2018 and 2020?

In line with Rockstar Games' most anticipated video game "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 6," it is revealed that the game is set to be released between 2018 and 2020.

"GTA 6" is set to be released in 2018, according to GTA 6 Grand Theft Auto. While there is not certainty behind the aforementioned year of release for the upcoming game, 2018 is deduced from timing of release of "GTA 4" and "GTA 5," which are released in 2008 and 2013 respectively.

Based on the year given, it is noted that "GTA 5" was released five years following the "GTA 4" release. If this pattern is to be continued, Rockstar Games could release "GTA 6" in 2018.

The forthcoming "GTA 6" may also be released in 2020, if the release date for "GTA 3" and "GTA 4" are noted. As per the publication, the games were released in 2001 and 2008, respectively; thus, it is possible to see "GTA 6" released seven years after "GTA 5," which is in 2020.

According to Neurogadget, "GTA 6" is also rumored to be released along with the next generation of gaming consoles. As per the publication, the PlayStation 5 and the successors of the Xbox consoles may be released in 2020 and this leads fans and gamers to assume that the year is the most logical release for "GTA 6."

Rockstar Games has not given either an affirmative or negative comment  with regard the "GTA 6" release date; however, it is revealed that the company is planning to release "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the succeeding years.

Overall, Rockstar Games has yet to announce the final and official release timeline for "GTA 6."
