Gretchen Wilson vs Animal Rights Activists: Country Star Strikes Back After Being Protested for SeaWorld Concert (VIDEO)

Country music singer Gretchen Wilson was attacked by animal rights activists for performing at SeaWorld, but now the star is putting an end to the vicious dispute by choosing to "love everyone," even those who have been "ugly" to her.

Wilson was added to the concert series at SeaWorld to headline along with comedian Bill Engvall for week two of concerts being held as the park. Animal activists heavily protested the singer's performance, and said she is somehow contributing to the animal entertainment arena's alleged mistreatment of animals.

After much criticism on Twitter, Wilson struck back, "I did my research...can't wait to see my FANS on Saturday! Wouldn't it be nice if this much effort could go into saving unborn babies?"

The bashing continued and after the concert the singer chose to take the peaceable route and post her love for everyone, even her attackers.

"I love everyone! Even the ugly ones!" she tweeted, adding, "I really love people who know what's really important in life! Like being good to each other!"

Alan Jackson and Kid Rock both played to capacity crowds in the Orlando amusement park the weekend before Wilson did, despite protesters from PETA and other animal rights groups protesting the event.

The uproar apparently arose because of a documentary movie CNN aired called, "Blackfish." The movie features Tilikum, an Orca whale that killed a trainer at SeaWorld. The movie focuses on the alleged cruelty of keeping whales in captivity.

Due to the controversy that the documentary caused, several country stars pulled out of the SeaWorld event, including nine big-name performers such as Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, and Trace Adkins.

Scotty McCreery and Justin Moore are also scheduled to perform at the venue soon.
