Players now have access to the long-awaited "Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5" redux mod.

According to PC Gamer, "GTA 5's" redux mod showcases promising features, which include visual modifications, physics, weather, lighting, and weapon. As per the publication, the mod also sees new textures, fire and particle effects, and several ReShade options.

In this regard, highlights include water splash effects, paper and garbage blowing from trucks, and falling leaves from trees and bushes. Along with these visual options, the Redux mod also introduces real-life commercial vehicles and taxi ads, along with retextured roads for Los Santos.

In a statement, as cited by the website, the narrator mentions how Euphoria physics raises NPC reactions. The narrator said that Euphoria physics had been included for more realistic reactions for shooting AI and how pedestrians now reach for objects as they are falling.

"Redux is more than a mirror visual upgrade: it's a complete game overhaul, bringing San Andreas back to the player," the narrator said.

In terms of downloading the mod, GTA 5 Redux mentions that the download is already live and players just have to go to the downloads page and grab a copy. The mod creator writes that players should read the full instructions on the Installation page to get the Redux mod running properly.

The developers also expressed their apology to players who met a broken page when they visited the site on Sept. 16. As per the developers, it was due to some unexpected errors when the launch date came.

"GTA 5" is playable on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
