Gran Turismo Sport's E3 2016 Trailer Gives More ‘Gran Turismo’ Feel, Gets Mixed Reactions From Viewers

Polyphony Digital has released the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 trailer for its upcoming title "Gran Turismo Sport" and it has got a blend of reactions from viewers.

According to Forbes, Polyphone Digital's E3 trailer for "Gran Turismo Sport" was cool. As per the publication, the trailer managed to feature superior visual quality. A case in point is the Forza Motorsport 6, which was described as "phenomenal," not to mention that the other racing car models were shown as replica of the real-life models. In addition to a realistic car feature, some positive points of the trailer include the backgrounds, tracks, and lighting.

As per Push Square, the title's E3 trailer was disappointing, but it was outweighed by the game's headline features, along with the attention to detail and sports angle. The new "Gran Turismo Sport" trailer also demonstrated high regard to motorsport, which was less felt in the previous trailer. Thus, the latest trailer has more "Gran Turismo" elements in it.

The "Gran Turismo Sport" E3 trailer looks average, as per Destructoid. According to the publication, Polyphony Digital is aiming to compete with similar game genres online genres, but it added an offline racing mode with its Campaign Mode and Arcade selections, which include Single Race, Time Trial, Drift Trial, and a Two-Player Split Screen. Despite of the mediocrity, it is assumed that the title is set to let gamers have a unique racing experience.

Overall, Polyphony Digital's "Gran Turismo Sport" is set to be released for the PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15 in North America and on Nov. 18 in Europe. Watch the E3 2016 traile here.
