Gospel Rapper Da' Truth just released the music video of his new single, "Religion," and in the process, answered earlier concerns about whether the Grammy nominated singer was questioning his faith.

The whole controversy started when the musician and author Dr. Ravi Zacharias were exchanging Twitter messages surrounding topics about God and religion. It turned out that the two were in fact sharing the lyrics of Da' Truth's new single "Religion."

In a press release, however, Da' Truth (real name Emanuel Lee Lambert Jr.) revealed that the Twitter exchange was much deeper than sharing the lyrics of his new single "Religion," which will be part of the album "It's Complicated" to be released this spring.

He said that even now, there are still some questions nagging at him which is why he's bringing the audience along for the journey at discovery.

"Is there one true religion? Is it arrogant to be exclusive? Can we be certain that Christianity is the only religion that God acknowledges as true?" he said. "Many people, Christians included, struggle with these questions, and I want them to know they aren't alone."

He explained further, "Through this song and my entire album, I want to provide a soundtrack that articulates some of the internal twist and turns that people experience concerning exclusivity in religion and ultimately start a discussion among each other and together we can resolve the one that has to be true."
