Gospel Legend Shirley Caesar Releases New Album 'Fill This House'

Affectionately known as the "First Lady of Gospel Music," Pastor Shirley Caesar, 77, has released a new album called "Fill This House."

According to a press release, Caesar's "Fill This House" stands as her most thrilling musical journey and powerful ministry legacy yet. The album contains eleven tracks featuring the gospel singer's iconic voice, which promotes healing and spiritual empowerment.

The opening track on Caesar's new album is entitled "It's Alright, It's Ok." (feat. Anthony Hamilton), which sets the stage with a creative mix that can be heard throughout the rest of the album. The song speaks of God's selfless love, encouragement, and guidance.

Caesar has received many career merits from music peers and world leaders. The press release notes in particular that she has been inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame, and been awarded as many as eleven Grammy Awards, 18 Dove Awards, and 14 Stellar Awards, among others.

The singer is committed to bring vital ministry wherever she goes, such as at her home in North Carolina, pastoring her community at Mt. Calvary Word of Faith Church in Raleigh, as well as performing around the world, with upcoming performances in San Diego, Calif., Brooklyn, N.Y., among others.

Aside from "It's Alright, It's Ok," "Fill This House" also includes songs like "He Won't Fail You," "Survive This," "Need Him Now," "Mother Emanuel," "Prayer Changes Things," "Be Happy (I Command U To Live," and "Sow Righteous Seeds," among others.
