The Bulldogs (2-0) will attempt to extend their current winning streak to three games when they battle the Hawks on Wednesday night, following their recent 72-56 victory versus the SMU Mustangs (on November 17) where Gonzaga guard Kevin Pangos scored 17 points in order to propel his squad to the aforementioned win.

"We defended them really well, and it helped us turn that into buckets," said Pangos to reporters.

Bulldogs head coach Mark Few echoed his player's sentiment regarding their triumphant performance at home versus the Mustangs at the McCarthey Athletic Center on Monday.

"That's going to be a great win for us," said Few to reporters.

"It will serve us well in March. You had two high-level teams slugging it out and adjusting to each other."

Meanwhile, the Hawks (1-1) are looking to stretch their winning streak to two games when they face the Bulldogs in their upcoming matchup on Wednesday night.

Saint Joseph's recently defeated the Drexel Dragons by a final score of 52-49 on November 14, where Hawks forward DeAndre Bembry had 13 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 block shots in the victory.

"We relied on our [Saint Joseph's head coach Phil Martelli] and the leadership of DeAndre Bembry," said Bembry's teammate James Demery to reporters.

"After that loss to FDU, DeAndre said that was a loss he was really mad about. He was the last one out of the locker room. He just took that leadership role and we listened. We had to finish."

The game will start at 11:00 pm ET and it can be watched on TV on ESPU and ESP3 network or online through live stream by clicking here.
