This summer, the Gospel Music Association (GMA) is holding its annual Immerse event, aimed at mentoring, developing, and equipping the next generation of Christian artists and songwriters, in the hopes that many more lives will be impacted and affected for Christ by investing in the lives of those who attend.

The 2018 Immerse event will take place June 11-13 in Nashville, Tenn., and features artists and speakers such as, for KING & COUNTRY, CeCe Winans, Hollyn, Mike Donehey, and Michael Farren. Participants will have access to workshops, networking and community, as well as worship and live concerts.

Immerse features tracks for artistry, songwriting, and music business and is aimed at artists, songwriters and worship leaders in particular, although anyone who has a knack for music and is looking for next steps, or someone with just a general interest in the music business are recommended by the GMA to attend.

This year, the conference will also feature the reVIEWyou artist, songwriter, vocalist & band competition where participants will receive critiques of performances from Christian music industry coaches and where the grand prize is a potential career in the performers' respective category.

On their website, the GMA lists several renowned artists who got their start at Immerse, including MercyMe, Matthew West, Point of Grace, Rachael Lampa, Babbie Mason, and Micah Tyler. The event was launched in 1975 as Music in the Rockies by Christian Artists' Corp president Cam Floria, and was subsequently taken over by the GMA in 2000 before being renamed Immerse in 2009.

Tickets to attend the conference can be found here and include options to compete in reVIEWyou, as well as the A-List Experience, which is designed to give participants enhanced access to Christian music influencers and artists throughout the event. Early bird rates end April 1.
