'Girl Meets World' Season 3 News Update: Series Renewal Remains Uncertain But Spinoff Possible?

The future of "Girl Meets World" season 4 remains blurry, as Disney Channel still has not issued any official announcement as to the renewal of the series for another season.

A recent interview with a representative from the series confirmed that Disney Channel still has no plans when it comes to the renewal of the series, causing fans to worry that the season 3 will already serve as the series finale. The actress, however, brought up the concept of a spinoff series.

In an interview with CelebMix, Ava Kolker shared her thoughts on the rumored "Girl Meets World" spinoff series. She said it would be interesting to see a separate show based on her character in the series, Ava, alongside Auggie.

"It would be great to see them grow up together. They have such great chemistry on TV," she said.

The actress also noted that season 3 is very unique from the other seasons when it comes to drawing out deeper stories in its characters. She shared that while Ava can seem like a spoiled girl on the surface, there is more to her character than what most fans know.

Meanwhile, two cast members of the series have some brewing rift off-screen recently. Known for promoting feminism, Rowan Blanchard called the attention of her co-star Uriah Shelton, who has been posting anti-feminist messages on Instagram. Asked to comment on the issue, Blanchard simply responded that the actor does not deserve any of her attention and time.
