Not too long ago, fans were reading rumors that claimed Jason Morgan was going to be revived back onto the show, and that the actor playing the role would be a soap opera veteran himself.

Billy Miller was rumored to be joining 'General Hospital' to take on the role of Jason Morgan. This rumor apparently got out of hand, and was actually falsely confirmed by TV Guide contributor Michael Logan.

Logan went ahead and said that Miller had signed a contract with 'General Hospital' confirming his role as a "done deal."

However, recent reports claim that his Twitter post and confirmation was all a sham, Billy Miller will not be playing Jason Morgan on the soap. In fact, an official statement has recently been released by TV Guide writer and soap opera enthusiast, Nelson Branco, completely shattering Michael Logan's claim.

Branco writes,"As for TV GUIDE's Michael Logan claiming Billy Miller GH-appointment was a 'done deal,' UNCENSORED has since learned that the Emmy winner is not joining the ABC sudser, although he was courted. Friends tell UNCENSORED that Miller doesn't want to do another soap opera."

Now that the matter has been settled, to the disappointment of many, fans are once again left in the dark when it comes to Jason Morgan. Even though, the character will definitely be returning to the show, the new face of Jason Morgan has not yet been chosen by the soap's producers.

As it stands, fans will just have to wait and see who is going to revive the role of Jason Morgan on the popular daytime soap, 'General Hospital'.
