Gay Student Raises $100,000 After Family Attacks & Disowns Him For Being Gay; Secret Viral Footage Shows Violent Exchange [VIDEO]

19-year-old Daniel Ashley Pierce documented his family's horrific intervention in response to the fact that he is gay, but because of this, he has raised thousands of dollars to help him get on his feet after they kicked him out. Christians on the Internet chimed in about the family's response and their take on the Bible.

The video depicts the family turning very hateful after a calm disagreement went violent. Pierce's family stood behind the Bible as to why they believe being gay is a choice, but believers maintain on YouTube that their reasoning for disowning him and hitting him is not justified anywhere in scripture.

"I have not made a choice, from the moment I came out of my mothers uterus I have been that way." Pierce is heard saying in the video that he shoots while he hides his camera.

Someone calmly replies, "You can deny it if you want to but I believe the word of God and He creates nobody that way, it's a path that you have chosen to choose."

Pierce uses science to debate that he believes "scientific proof trumps the word of God." Pierce is then asked to move out because the family does not want others to think that they condone his homosexuality.

Another woman who is said to be the boy's step mother then attacks him, and much hateful language ensues. Pierce has since been kicked out and started a GoFundMe campaign that raised $93,765 of a $2000 goal he placed to help him get on his feet.

"They took everything including my college text books. I intend to use this money to get the basic things I need such as a bed, text books, medical stuff and transportation," Pierce said on the GoFundMe page, "For now, I ask for your understanding that I really need some quiet time to take it all in and plan my future. Thank you so much for your love and support. It means the world to me."

Several hateful messages against God and Christians emerged after the video was posted, but some Christians wanted to make it clear that although they stand with the Bible they did not stand behind the family's actions.

"God knew from the very beginning how each of us is going to live our lives, yet He chose the cross to die for each of our sins... one sin is not different than another sin," one wrote on GoFundMe.

Another said on Youtube, "This is not an example of Christianity, or the word of God! It makes me so mad when apparent "Christians" say things like this on a viral YouTube video, and then the entire comment section blows up with "All religious people are so dumb and inconsiderate" because of them."
