Country music legend Garth Brooks recently performed a heartfelt performance from his new single titled "Mom," which described a fictional conversation between God and an unborn baby.

The 50-year-old Tulsa, Oklahoma native preformed the aforementioned song in front of the live GMA audience, where longtime co-anchor Robin Roberts was among several people in the crowd that were seen weeping on Friday morning.

"A little baby told God, 'Hey I'm kinda scared, don't really know if I wanna go down there/Because from here it looks like a little blue ball/But that's a great big place and I'm so small,'" said Brooks in his "Mom" song on GMA on November 7.

"'Why can't I just stay here with you? Did I make you mad? Don't you want me, too?' And God said, 'Oh child, of course I do/But there's somebody special that's waiting for you.'"

Brooks previously released a faith based song in 1998 titled "It's Your Song," a song where he revealed his personal feelings about his personal relationship with God Almighty.

"Every night I pray/ Before the music starts to play/ That I'll do my best and I won't let you down/ And for all the times I've stood here/ This feeling feels brand new/ And anytime I doubt myself I think of you," said Brooks in the "It's Your Song" lyrics.

"'Cause it was your song that made me sing/ And it was your voice that gave me wings/ And it was your light that shined/ Guiding my heart to find/ This place where I belong/ It was your song..."

Brooks latest album Man Against Machine will become available for purchase on November 11, 2014.

The Country Music Hall of Famer recently unveiled the official dates where he and his wife Trisha Yearwood (who is also a country music icon) will host their upcoming World Tour next year, which will start in his hometown of Tulsa, OK from January 15-17.
