'Game of Thrones' Season 4 Premiere Spring 2014 / More Fire Effects and Dragon Action in New Episodes!

As the Season 4 premiere of Game of Thrones draws closer, more and more spoilers are coming out of the woodwork and finding their way online. HNGN reports the next season of the popular HBO fantasy series will be packed with tons of cool fire effects and way more dragon action.

Not sure where the timeline picks up for Season 4, either way, the dragons have to be bigger and stronger. You know what that means. Daenerys Targaryen, Mother of Dragons, is a bigger player for the Iron throne.

GOT behind-the-scenes writer Cat Taylor dishes some details on how the SFX team tested dragon fire.

"Tourists walking... don't even glance in our direction and a jogger runs down the road oblivious to our rag-tag bunch...Then, on command, 15 feet of fire shoots through the air...The first time, no one really notices the flame. SFX have a tight control on the rig and the fire is only coming in short bursts to give the camera crew and VFX team a chance to calibrate and get closer to the outlets."

Season 4 of Game of Thrones is centered around the second half of "A Storm of Swords" from George R.R. Martin's series "A Song of Ice and Fire."

New episodes premiere in spring 2014.
