Franklin Graham and Pastor Saeed Abedini Wife Naghmeh Host Prayer Vigils in Honor of Imprisoned Husband

Franklin Graham and the wife of persecuted Pastor Saeed Abedini, Naghmeh, are going to host prayer vigils in order to commemorate the pastor's upcoming two-year anniversary behind bars. Pastor Saeed Abedini was thrown into an Iranian prison because of his strong Christian faith.

Graham said that the people inside the Iranian prison have done unspeakable things to Pastor Abedini in order to make the young father of two children (Rebekka and Jacob) renounce his Christian faith and revert back to Islam.

As a result, Graham mentioned that he believes the people inside the notorious Iranian prison are trying to kill Abedini slowly via various methods of torture.

Graham along with Naghmeh will first host a special prayer service worldwide at the Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 25, which is the eve of the two-year anniversary of his wrongful imprisonment because of his faith.

Two years ago, authorities removed the minister from a bus after the Iranian-American returned to Iran to build an orphanage to house kids in need of a home. Before that incident, the preacher built multiple Christian churches in his native land after he converted to Christianity back in 2000.

Now Naghmeh, along with several other people, including the aforementioned son of the famous televangelist Franklin Graham, will host the event in honor of her husband. The event will also commemorate other pastors and peoples all over the world, those who've been imprisoned because they belong to the proverbial Body of Christ.

In addition, Naghmeh's husband Saeed has been receiving death threats from ISIS militants and imprisoned members of Al Qaeda who have already attempted to murder him.

Previously, Pastor Abedini's wife Naghmeh expressed her concern for her husband's safety when she personally witnessed her husband being attacked inside an Iranian hospital, where he spent two months recuperating from the injuries he suffered from both Rajai Shahr and Evin prisons.

The upcoming two-day prayer vigils (September 25 and September 26) hosted by Graham and Mrs. Abedini are slated to be honored by people living in America from coast-to-coast.

In addition, at least 30 countries are also expected to show their support for the people who are currently being victimized because of their fervent faith and trust in the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
