Francesca Battistelli Shares How Her Life Flowed Within "Hundred More Years"

27-year-old Francesca Battistelli, CCM singer-songwriter, is a passionate young woman. The Italian-American Christian musician recently released her new album "Hundred More Years." Battistelli stated on www.wordlabelgroup.com that "faith within struggle", "joy amidst chaos" are the core to what makes her music so widely appreciated and why she has been able to acheive a long-stated goal: "to bring something authentic to the scene that even non-Christians could listen to." Battistelli also stated that it has been a dream of hers for people who would never turn on a Christian radio station to maybe hear her song, like it, find the album, and make a turn to God.

Francesca stated on several articles that writing her album "Hundred More Years" wasn't as easy as the albums she had previously written. She didn't have much to worry about in her first few albums that she wrote. She only wrote and recorded. This time around, though, it was different, she had her mind full with 4 objectives that she figured she would be "okay" with as long as she got through it; these objectives were being pregnant, writing and recording her album, moving to a new city, and touring. Her lyrics tell her story; they tell something so real and unique that anyone can relate to spiritually and in everyday life-from her first album to "Hundred More Years."

Francesca has succeeded dramatically with her album "Hundred More Years" she won Grammy's for Artist of the Year, Female Vocalist of the Year, and Recorded Song of the Year for her 1st song in the album, "This is the Stuff." Like Francesca said, "I'm not perfect but at the end of the day God still loves me and everything's going to be okay." She accomplished so much amidst all of her worries. She paraphrases Jeremiah 29:11: "God declares I think of you and I have plans for your prosperity and a future filled with hope."
