'Forza Motorsport 6' Release Date, DLC News, Details: New Models Will Include Bone Shaker, Mustang, Ford Focus RS

New car models have been revealed in line with Turn 10 Studios' "Forza Motorsport 6" DLC.

On May 3, Turn 10 Studios (via Forza Motorsport's website) announced "Forza Motorsport 6" is set to feature car models like the 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, which is designed by "Mr. Hot Wheels'" Larry Wood. It is one of the most popular car models that authorized the production of a real-life version and its headers and straight pipes allow it to look and sound intimidating, among others.

Hot Wheels and Action Vehicle Engineering began with a 2005 Mustang and rose the custom model, the 2005 Ford Hot Wheels Mustang, in celebration of 50 years of the Ford pony car. It is easily identified with its orange and purple tinge accents and has large fender flares, along with oil-coler lines routed through the empty grill.

Another model for "Forza Motorsport 6" is the 2017 Ford Focus RS. Aside from the hype, the car showcases a "barking, raspy burble" that goes back to its heritage. Also, features like the Torque Vectoring Rear Drive Module, an adjustable suspension, and 350hp aggressive lines contribute to its majestic performance.

Speaking with heritage, the 2015 McLaren P1 GTR is also one of the car models that best exemplifies it. The car's name is derived from the McLaren F1 GTR, which was awarded the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. Along with its downforce and power, the car's mirrors have also been moved to the A-pillars in order to boost visibility and decrease drag.

Following the race between legend Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna in the 1990s, the former's Ferrari #1 Scuderia Ferrari 641 raised Ferrari's engineering to a higher bar. The car was referred to by Prost as "the best car on the grid" and it was the model Senna traveled off track at Suzuka.

A hybrid car also joins "Forza Motorsport 6," in the form of 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport. Its platform and chassis are joined with the Cadillac ATS and the Chevy Corvette powertrain, fused with an independent suspension. While its body is retrospective in style, its creases help accentuate the model as new.

Final on the list is the 2015 BMW X6M, which unveils its heritage with its thrilling performance. Like an M-Class BMW, the 2015 X6M is capable of taking off the line with its twin turbo V8-powered version and eight-speed automatic.

Along with the aforementioned car models, two collectible "Forza Motorsport 6" "die-cast models" are set to come out soon, according to Xbox Achievements. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport and the 2017 Ford Focus RS are set to be available on May 23 and June 20, respectively.

"Forza Motorsport" can be played on Microsoft Windows and Xbox One.
