Christian indie rock band for King & Country have their first official top 15 Billboard 200 album, RUN WILD. LIVE FREE. LOVE STRONG, coming in at No. 13.

The album was released on September 16 and quickly reached No. 1 on the Christian/Gospel charts and was top 5 overall on iTunes Albums chart.

The band's single "Fix My Eyes" was nominated for a Dove Award and was featured NBC's 'Today Show'. It will be played multiple times on the show over the next few weeks and has also been downloaded 112,000 times.

One half of the duo, Joel Smallbone, was asked about the meaning behind the group's song "Fix My Eyes" off their new album, RUN WILD.LIVE FREE.LOVE STRONG, and shared that although the song was written in 2012 at the height of everything going well, it was a reminder to put the focus back on God.

"That time was a transitional time for the band, and really a time of chaos. It was also a wonderful time. I was about to be married, and Luke was about to have a baby, and we had finished our first headlining tour," he said to NewReleaseTuesday, "Luke's wife Courtney was running lights for us while she was seven months pregnant, and we'd be driving through the night. Luke was starting to have his health issues."

While they thought everything was awesome, it made them realize who they are as people.

"The chorus talks about everything from social awareness of third world countries, fighting for the weak ones, speaking up for freedom, fighting for abandon and risking it all for love," Joel shared, "The chorus culminates in saying that we can do all of these things, but if we don't fix our eyes, meaning repair our eyes, and fix our eyes on above, then all of these things are worthless. The bridge of the song was inspired by the hymn 'Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus.'"

Their song with Lecrae, "Messengers," is on top of the Billboard Gospel Digital chart. It is featured on Lecrae's No. 1 album in the country, Anomaly.

The 40-City "You Matter - The Tour" is selling out all over, and is sponsored by Compassion International. Tickets can be purchased here.
