The album will be the first with lead singer Kristen May, who only previously released an EP after Lacey Sturm's departure.

They also recently announced their tour will be kicking off on October 3.

The 29 city tour will see the band perform along with openers Ryan White and Lullwater with tickets now available here.

"I'm really looking forward to getting on the road starting in October," said Kristen May in a press release, "We have a batch of new songs we've poured our hearts and souls into and I can't wait to play them live. The music really takes on a new life when our fans are singing with us and experiencing these songs in the moment. Also, I can't wait to listen to Ryan White and Lullwater each night. It's going to be a magical tour."

The band recorded the album in Los Angeles with Don Gilmore, who has previously worked with Linkin Park and Avril Lavigne.

"For the first time, we went into the studio and let things happen. "It was about the energy and the spontaneity of a song more than anything. It was a very refreshing approach," May said of the recording process of Between the Stars, "It's the most emotional album I've ever been a part of. There are some really heavy things and lyrics that weren't easy to say. Everybody tried to be as raw as possible when we were writing and recording. That all came out in the songs."
