First Time Moms Set to Celebrate Mother’s Day With Their New Gifts from Heaven [SEE HERE]
BREATHEcast selected a few first time mommies' in the mainstream Christian community that will celebrate their very first mother's day this holiday season.
'19 Kids and Counting' daughter Jill Duggar (now known as Jill Dillard) has much to celebrate this Mother's Day. After a 70-hour delivery she welcomed her first child Israel David. Jill, 23, recently told PEOPLE that being a mother is not what she thought it would be. "I have just asked my mom a lot of questions about what is normal and what to expect," she said.
Fireflight's Dawn Michele also welcomed her first baby this year. The baby is named Johnny Scott Danger Lott and was born in Albuquerque in March, weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 19½ inches long. "This is the best day of my life!" tweeted Dawn with a picture of herself with the baby, see below.
UP Original Series "Bringing Up Bates" stars Alyssa (20) and her husband John Webster (25), son of U.S. Representative Daniel Webster (R-Fla.), welcomed their first child into the world on Saturday, April 11. "We are so excited to welcome our healthy, beautiful baby girl Allie Jane into the world. We are ecstatic and grateful to receive this precious gift. We know she will be showered with lots of love from her grandparents and her aunts and uncles," Alyssa and John said in a press release. UP's hit series "Bringing Up Bates" will return to the network for its second season on Wednesday, June 4 at 10 p.m. EDT and will feature the happy new family.
Popular worshiper Laura Story also gave birth to twins toward the end of last year after a rough pregnancy. Although the set of boys are not the singer's first, she certainly is an honoree of a first mom to twins. Story is also raising a toddler daughter with her husband who is limited by a disability. In an interview with BREATHEcast Story confessed that the babies were a surprise.
