'Final Fantasy VII Remake' Release Date News, Rumors: Game Coming To Nintendo NX With ‘Final Fantasy XV’?

"Final Fantasy VII Remake" is set to be released alongside "Final Fantasy XV" for Nintendo NX, according to the latest rumors.

According to Crossmap, Nintendo and Square Enix are on good terms, with the latter setting up new game titles for the consumer electronics company's much-anticipated gaming console, the Nintendo NX.

The publication writes that "Final Fantasy VII Remake" and "Final Fantasy XV" will be part of the initial game titles for the upcoming gaming console.

The "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is also rumored to come in parts or episodes, one aspect of why the game has been the talk of the town online.

According to the publication, many are questioning this rumored move by Square Enix since they have already been known to do segmented game releases with paid DLC packs. This, in the long run, is viewed as a strategy to boost the game's profit.

A case in point. where Nintendo hinted a Final Fantasy release for the Nintendo NX, is Square Enix's approval of Cloud Strife as a DLC character in "Super Smash Bros." The character is the protagonist in "Final Fantasy VIII," which is a favorite of many gamers.

According to the official Square Enix website, game director Yoshinori Kitase said that if they had been to try to fit everything from the original into one remake statement they would have had to cut various parts and create a condensed version of "Final Fantasy VII" he added that they had known none of the gamers would have wanted that.

Aside from the "Final Fantasy VII" remake and the "Final Fantasy XV," other game titles to join the Nintendo NX launch include "Deus Ex," "Just Cause," "Kingdom Hearts 3," and "Tomb Raider."
