Social media is in an uproar over a new documentary, which shows pastors who are MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) fighters creating fight clubs in their churches to train for violent and bloody competitions.

"As Christians, there are times where you take shots, that's when the Bible gives you your training," Paul Burress, a MMA fighter and Pastor from New York told his large congregation in the film's trailer, "I get all the time that I don't look like the typical pastor and that's okay. There is a verse in the Bible that says be weary if all men speak well of you."

Several pastors are seen and heard in the trailer condoning the brutal fights. "Tough guys need Jesus too," one said, another added, "We'll just be a couple of God fearing men punching each other in the face."

The 'Fight Church' pastors have rules that once the fights are over they must keep the commandment to love one another. A minister seen fighting in the video said, "Tonight we're gonna fight and then we'll talk about Jesus tomorrow when we go to church."

The Daniel Junge and Bryan Storkel documentary is set to shed light on a growing number of American pastors participating in pastor vs. pastor MMA fights across the country.

The controversial film shows a father teaching his young son how to shoot and training him to be an MMA fighter as well. This man declared, "Mainstream Christianity has feminized men."

When questioned by FOX411 why the filmmakers agreed to make this kind of documentary Storkel said, "When we set out to make the film, we were focusing on one character - Paul...We thought that he was anomaly...surely this couldn't be happening in other churches as well. But as [we] dove deeper into the topic, other fighting pastors started to pop up around the country."

"We aren't taking any bold stances on whether MMA fighting is right or wrong or even if pastors should do this or not," Storkel continued.

Upon reading the comments and seeing the amount of dislikes the film has received on YouTube, it is clear both believers and unbelievers are not pleased with this new phenomena happening in the church. The comments are too graphic to share.
