Fast and Furious 7 Cast Update: Paul Walker Autopsy Says He Was Still Alive After Crash, Last Will Fulfilled, Kurt Russell 'Fast and Furious 8' News

Actor Paul Walker's autopsy revealed that he was alive in the immediate aftermath of his horrific car crash as it burst into flames and ultimately killed the popular actor. Now in latest news it appears as though Walker's final will and last wishes have been fulfilled.

Walker's car was reportedly going 100 mph when the driver lost control, with the sports car smashing into a nearby lamp post, which nearly split the vehicle in half. He and friend Roger Rodas were attending a charity event when the car hit a lamp post and a tree, causing it to burst into flames on Hercules Parkway.

Doctors were previously unsure whether Walker was alive or dead directly after the collision but a thin coating of soot in the dying stars respiratory system indicates that he was briefly alive during the final moments before the car was completely engulfed in flames.

Judges recently acknowledged that instructions directly indicated in his last will and testament should be fulfilled; that the relatively young star's sizable estate should be given to his father, Paul Walker Sr. That clause was fulfilled early this week when his father was named the executor of Walker's $25 million estate.

As to his young daughter, Meadow Walker, she is currently living with his mother Cheryl, who was the preferred guardian, even over the mother, as described in his will.

Following the death of the Fast and Furious star, the latest movie in the franchise, The Fast and the Furious 7, will now arrive in theaters on April 10, 2015 instead of July 11, 2014 due to delays in filming.

A representative for Universal said in a December statement following his death, "Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul's immediate family and our extended 'Fast & Furious' family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on 'Fast & Furious 7' for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise."

Paul Walker played Brian O"Conner in five of the six "Fast and Furious" films so far, and had a significant role in the seventh film, and filmmakers are having to alter the production to work around Walker's tragic death.

Meanwhile, actor Kurt Russell, who is a relatively new member for the Fast and Furious cast, has said he is still waiting to be updated about whether or not his character will be in the next sequel - Fast and Furious 8 - but all indications are that the actor would love to be part of the production.
