Lauren tackled issues like intersex orientation in "Faking It" season 3 episode 4 while it has been revealed that Amy and Karma both know how to bring back their friendship in episode 5.

"Faking It" season 3 episode 4 is entitled "Jagged Little Heart." According to New Now Next, Lauren was guided by youth advocate named Raven to set up a foundation for herself in the intersex community. As per the publication, the episode also saw Amy displace her frustrations to Karma in a good way by creating a documentary about how Laurence accepted her intersexuality.

Amanda Saenz plays the role of Lauren in the series. In her interview with the publication, the actress said that walking onto a studio set had been perhaps one of the more surreal things that she had done in her life. For Saenz, she was so excited that the intersex community was growing more and more visible, and that her character's movement was building momentum.

Meanwhile, more details on Karma's life are set to be revealed in "Faking It" season 3 episode 5, entitled "Third Wheels." According to a synopsis in TV Guide, a disclosure about Karma's home life leaves Amy and Lauren's plot to bring their parents together. As per the publication, episode 5 is also set to see Liam and Shane have dinner with the former's rabbi.
