The upcoming Bible epic, Exodus: Gods and Kings revealed a new movie poster; and actors Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton talk about what it meant to be apart of the "extraordinary" film.

Bale recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly about what it was like to play the role of Mosein Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings, "No fake beards," was the condition Bale had before taking the job, "The biblical account of Moses is extraordinary, and there was lots of room for us to go to places that The Ten Commandments never dreamed of going," the Oscar-winning actor said.

The film features a star-studded cast including Edgerton, Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley, John Turturro, and Aaron Paul. Actor Edgerton who is known for his role in The Great Gatsby plays the role of Ramses in the upcoming film. Edgerton said, "When you're Ridley, you pick up the phone and people will turn up." He then confessed, "I had to battle demons of self-doubt to feel like I belonged in this club."

"What I thought I knew about Moses, I didn't really," director of the film Scott told EW, "Either I wasn't paying attention in Sunday school or I had forgotten. I was knocked out by who he was and the basics of the story - it has to be one of the greatest adventures and spiritual experiences that could ever have been."

The movie will retell the biblical account found in Exodus of Moses, a prophet who stood up to Pharaoh Ramses, and helped free more than 600,000 slaves. He then led those people through the desert away from Egypt.

The movie production was filmed in Almería, Spain along the Mediterranean Sea, and Fuerteventura, and one of the Canary Islands.
