Eminem Stabbed 4 Times in NYC? Facebook Death Hoax Claims 'Lose Yourself' Rapper / Em on Tour in Europe

The Internet never misses an opportunity to convince the world a celebrity is dead.

The cyber crosshairs were on Jackie Chan a month ago, now they've moved on to 'Lose Yourself' rapper Eminem.

Gullible fans of the 8 Mile star may have been a little scared to hear news of Eminem being stabbed in NYC over the weekend. Apparently, the rapper formerly known as Marshall Mathers was stabbed four times.

Funny thing is, Eminem is on tour in Europe. So how he was stabbed in the U.S. last weekend is beyond me.  

Long story short, it turned out to be just another Facebook death hoax. Eminem may be angry, sad, happy or lonely, but he's not recovering from a knife fight.

Oh, and don't click on any links claiming to have footage of the wounded emcee, unless you want your computer to crash.

This isn't the first time Eminem has made headlines for being stabbed. Back in May, a photo of a bloody man's back went viral. The Internet claimed it was Eminem. It wasn't

Best part about all of these Eminem-is-dead stories, is the fact that the wounded man in question is too cool to even acknowledge the rumors. Unlike Jackie Chan who posted a photo of him and the morning newspaper [ya know, proof he's alive] Eminem is too busy working on his new album, due out later this year.
