Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi Divorce Rumors: Gossip Is Not True

After almost six years of marriage and many months of facing divorce rumors, Ellen Degeneres's marriage to wife Portia de Rossi is as alive as ever, according to reports.

The two, who have been enduring rumors of an impending divorce since the start of this year, and are said to have decided to renew their vows sometime in the coming months.

The divorce rumors first broke earlier this year when the 35-year-old Portia was rumored to have been confined to a rehabilitation facility in Malibu for an alleged eating disorder. The actress has reportedly spent a 30-day rehab stint in May.

Portia's wife, world-famous talk show host Degeneres, flatly denied the rumors. It was reported that during an interview, Degeneres reaffirmed that she is happily married, and added that the only thing the married couple ever argue about is 'who loves who more'.

The pair, who, reports say, was recently seen relaxing on a vacation together in Croatia, is scheduled to grace the covers of Closer magazine in an upcoming issue, according to an article by IBTimes. The forthcoming publication will reportedly be entitled 'Ellen and Portia - We're Renewing Our Vows'.

Reports earlier mentioned that the couple has undergone marriage counseling following alleged marriage troubles. The same was disclosed in the supposedly upcoming magazine feature, although it's still unclear if the professed relationship problems were ever mentioned in the said feature.

The couple first met in 2004 in the backstage of an awards show, and went public about their relationship a year after in 2005, also at an awards show.

Ellen and Portia first said their marriage vows in August of 2008, in an intimate ceremony celebrated at their Beverly Hills home, where both their mothers were present along with just seventeen other guests, including the queen of talk, Oprah Winfrey.
