'Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date News: Bethesda to Launch 'Elder Scrolls: Argonia' or 'Elder Scrolls: Redguard' in 2016

The rumor mill is abuzz that Bethesda Softworks LLC is gearing up to release its action role-playing open world fantasy video game, 'Elder Scrolls 6,' sometime in 2016.

A report in Christian Today stated that although fans were expecting some information regarding 'Elder Scrolls 6' at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Bethesda did little to quench their thirst for details related to the title. However, some sort of official information about the upcoming video game recently came from Bethesda vice-president Peter Hines.

Hines is reported to have said that he empathizes with fans who were let down owing to the absence of any news at the E3 regarding the next installment of 'Elder Scrolls 6,' which is perhaps the most successful franchise from Bethesda. At the same time, he stated that there is a justification for the wait.

Bethseda vice-president hinted that currently the team at Bethesda is working hard to develop the new title. According to Hines, with a game as vital as well as with such high expectations as 'Elder Scrolls 6,' it is very natural that there will always be a long wait. Yibada reports that Hines, however, pointed at the likelihood that the game could be launched in late 2016.

Regardless of what Hines said at E3, several fans are still of the view that an announcement from Bethesda regarding the game's release is imminent. In fact, a number of fans have even predicted that 'Elder Scrolls 6' may be released during 2016 E3. However, these rumors were not backed up by any official source. It is expected that further official news regarding 'Elder Scrolls 6' could be available at the upcoming QuakeCon 2015 to be held Friday, since Bethesda has already announced that they will reveal what will come after 'Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited' at the event.

Meanwhile, MNR Daily reported that still there is some uncertainty regarding what the actual title of 'Elder Scrolls 6' would be.

Even as Bethesda working on making the term "Redguard" a brand, currently fans are speculating that the next game could either be 'Elder Scrolls: Argonia,' as many have widely guessed, or maybe 'Elder Scrolls: Redguard,' which may come as a surprise to many.

As of now, confusion is rampant, but more official news may be coming soon.
