DWTS Season 19: Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson Stuns Judges with Performance; Claims Upbringing Didn't Allow her to Dance [VIDEO]

The 'Dancing With the Stars' competition premiered on ABC Monday night and 'Duck Dynasty' star 17 year-old Sadie Robertson made her dancing debut. The judges were raving after the skill of her performance because the young star admitted her conservative school never allowed her to dance before.

Robertson teamed up with partner Mark Ballas whose last partner, Candace Cameron Bure, was also a Christian star who maintained her modest values while in the competition. During the introductory video Robertson's parents coach and pray for the young girl.

"Use your manners and your southern charm," her mother Korie advised her. Her father Willie also led the family in a prayer saying, "Father I'm so thankful for everything you've given us. I'm thankful for Sadie and I pray that she does well in this completion, in Christ we pray, Amen."

Robertson tells her dance partner that she is new to dancing, "I have no dance experience, we're not allowed to dance in our school," she said. Robertson and Ballas then danced the Cha Cha to former Katy Perry's "Birthday Cake."

Judges raved about the performance, and they were completely stunned at how talented she was despite not having any experience. Judges told her she was the "total package" and that she was not a duckling, but a "bird of paradise." Another said she was "a star in the making."

When the DWTS host asked Robertson about her outfit and what her father's thoughts were about it, she replied, "He approved this outfit." Robertson also said she thinks her dad was surprised by her performance and very proud.

Ballas respectfully said that Willie will be included in all of the decisions concerning his daughter, "Daddy's going to see all of the outfits before we go out," he said, and joked that Willie has to approve everything he does as well.

Robertson scored the second highest in the competition and urged her supporters on Twitter to vote for her, reassuring them that she was clinging to her faith.
