One of the most iconic movies of the 90's, Dumb and Dumber, looks like they have found a new home. 

A week after Warner Bros. decided to drop the script for the new sequel, the movie has found a new home with Red Granite and Universal pictures. 

Jim Carrey was losing faith that anyone was actually going to pick up the sequel and the movie might never happen, but now is thrilled that it looks like the movie will definitely happen. 

Both Carrey and Jeff Daniels will return to their roles as Lloyd and Harry. The original directors, The Farelly brothers will be returning as well to direct and write the new script. 

No dates have been released for when the film will start shooting or when the film will hit theaters but we can only hope that this sequel will be as strong as the original movie. 

With the original movie being such a classic, it has big shoes to fill, but this could be just the movie to get Jim Carrey's career back on track after a tough last couple of years at the Box Office.
