'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson's Daughter-in-Law Korie Addresses Duck Commander's Hospitalization Rumors [VIDEO]

'Duck Dynasty' star Phil Robertson's daughter-in-law Korie recently addressed the news and rumors regarding the A&E reality series patriarch being hospitalized.

"That was a false story," said Korie to Radar Online, "It was my dad who was in the hospital, not Phil."

The wife of Duck Commander CEO Willie Robertson also revealed that her father John Howard is doing much better after he was suffering from a terrible hernia problem.

"He will have to have surgery to fix it, but will go back to LA to do that," said Korie. "He was in Los Angeles with us for 'Dancing with the Stars', but will go home to Louisiana to see his regular doctor."

The reports regarding Phil Robertson's hospitalization started after Korie's daughter Sadie said her grandfather could not attend her first 'Dancing With the Stars' performance (with dance partner Mark Ballas) because her grandfather was recently hospitalized last week.

However, Sadie was talking about her grandfather John being at the hospital, not Phil.

In addition, a person who represents the Robertson family also addressed the rumors and confirmed that the 68-year-old Louisiana native is currently doing fine.

"Phil Robertson is in great health and has not been hospitalized this week," said the spokesperson to The Blaze, "When Sadie mentioned her grandfather earlier this week, she was referring to her maternal grandfather, who we are happy to report is now home and in good health."

Recently, the Robertson family patriarch revealed who he wants to succeed President Barack Obama as the next Commander-in-Chief of the United States at the upcoming 2016 election.

"I'm thinking, you know what, I think if we loved God and loved each other, I think our culture would put spiritual men in high places to make political decisions," said Phil Robertson to Sarah Palin at the 'Operation: Heal Our Patriots' event hosted by Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse event in Port Alsworth, Alaska.

"We need moose-cooking women in the White House."
