'Duck Dynasty' Season 9 Preview Roundup: Missy’s Parents Visit, Phil Robertson Votes For Ted Cruz

Aside from a visit from Missy's parents, Jase is set to fully support his daughter in cheerleading while patriarch Phil Robertson will endorse Texas senator Ted Cruz for president, according to the latest spoilers.

According to Daily Caller, Cruz released a video campaign, showing Robertson talking about his insights on his presidential choice. Robertson said that his qualifications for President of the United States were rather narrow. He mentioned that the president should be "Godly," loving to the people, capable of doing the job, and kill a duck and make it a "good duck gumbo."

Robertson also said that he had looked at the candidates and Cruz was his man, adding that the latter fit the bill, as he was Godly, he loved them, he was the man for the job, and he would do duck hunting.

In other news, the upcoming "Duck Dynasty" season 9 episode will see Jase drive his daughter to her cheerleading rehearsal, as his wife's flight had been delayed, according to Gospel Herald. However, Jase had to do more than taking his daughter to the school; he also had to help the latter with her hair and make-up.

On Jan. 12, Duck Dynasty posted on its Facebook page that the duck dad might not know much about cheerleading and make-up, but he would always be there for Mia no matter what.

Entitled "Inlawful Entry," "Duck Dynasty" season 9 will also see a visit from Missy's parents. Also, Willie and John Luke are going to work hand in hand on a snow cone business, though they are set to face some challenges among the way, as per previous reports.

"Duck Dynasty" season 9 returned to A & E on Jan. 13.
