"Duck Dynasty" New Season Returns August 14th, "Release the Quackin" Campaign Has Begun

"Duck Dynasty" has become the top-rated non-fiction cable show on TV. It sits only behind "The Walking Dead" in total cable viewing last season.

A&E has officially announced that the new season of Duck Dynasty will air on August 14th and started the latest billboard campaign "Release the Quackin".

This season (Season 4) will bring in the oldest brother to the show, Alan Robertson. He has been a pastor in the same area as his brothers but up to this point has stayed off of the show.

Alan will join the Duck Commander team and manage the publicity team. The question is, will he stay beardless or is that part of the new requirement?

He and his wife, Lisa, are currently writing a book on marriage which would definitely get a sales boost after being on the show as well. They have 2 daughters, Anna and Alex, in their 20's, who will both be a part of the show as well. Alex will be opening a food truck in front of the store and Anna works at Duck Commander currently.

The premiere episode of Season 4 is supposed to be centered around a surprise vow renewal for Phil and Kay Robertson.

Season 3 averaged 8.4 million total views, 4.8 million adults 18-49 and 4.7 million adults 25-54.

Are you excited about Alan Robertson joining the show? Time will tell if "Duck Dynasty" can keep their momentum going into next season.
