The new episode of "Dragon Ball Super" which airs on September 25 follows Zamasu as he attempts to kill his master via poisoning. Spoilers say that in episode 59, Zamasu will succeed in his plan against Supreme Kai Gowasu. However, it remains to be seen if Gowasu will die from the poison or will survive. Episode 60 will also reveal if he will be able to escape or if Son Goku will arrive before he even flees.

Titled "To the Future Once Again/ Goku Black's Identity Revealed," episode 60 will reportedly show Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, Beerus and Whis fail to get their hands on Gowasu. Based on spoilers, the gang will discover what Zamasu has done to Gowasu and will decide to deal with him so the present timeline will not mirror Future Trunks'. Universe 7's God of Destruction will take Zamasu in his own hands before he even damages the present timeline. It remains to be seen if Beerus will succeed.

Some speculate that as Beerus succeeds in getting rid of Zamasu as a threat, Goku and his group will believe that the future is already safe. However, Future Trunks will decide to return to the future and check if things are really fine as he does not want to settle with Goku's assumption. The theory is flawed, especially since the timeline of Future Trunks is an alternative version and is quite different from the present timeline. Goku and his group know that the events in the present time cannot change the events in Future Trunks' timeline.
