Christian gospel artist Jason Crabb chatted with BREATHEcast on the red carpet of the 45th annual GMA Dove Awards and shared a little bit about what he's up to.

"We're having a blast at the Dove Awards!" he said, starting off the interview.

Crabb was hyped up about being at the Dove Awards and just taking in the festivities and getting to hang out with all his buddies in the industry.

When asked about what he was up to, he shared the news of a record deal, "Well, I just signed a new record deal with provident so I'm excited about that."

He continued, "We're working on a record, been writing a lot. Been writing with Jason Ingram and...Mia Fields."

Crabb shared that he also tried his hand at being an author and penned a children's series with his first book being "One God, One You."

"I have a kids book series that just came out, there's a 10 book series. So much stuff going on, I'm touring, having a blast. Being a father, I got an eleven-year-old and a nine-year-old little girls."

Crabb's latest album, Love is Stronger, was released last year and the title song was nominated for a Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year.
