Country Legend Dolly Parton is well loved by many and in a new interview with Billboard for her 50th year anniversary in Country music, the entertainer offered advice to her fellow Christians about judging and maintained that judging the LGBT community is a sin.

Parton, although an outspoken advocate for gay marriage, has been able to maintain a following by those in the Christian community that condemn that life style. When asked by Billboard how she sustains her appeal to such a vast audience, she said the answer is love.

"It's a place for entertainment, a place for all families, period. It's for all that," she said, "But as far as the Christians, if people want to pass judgment, they're already sinning."

Parton like many others who are for gay marriage believe that condemning that lifestyle is a "sin." "The sin of judging is just as bad as any other sin they might say somebody else is committing," she continued, "I try to love everybody."

"They know that I completely love and accept them, as I do all people," she declared.

The Nashville resident went on to say that she has felt alienated and had to fight to be herself and be accepted so she sympathizes with the LGBT community in that regard.

"I've struggled enough in my life to be appreciated and understood. I've had to go against all kinds of people through the years just to be myself," she admitted, "I think everybody should be allowed to be who they are, and to love who they love. I don't think we should be judgmental. Lord, I've got enough problems of my own to pass judgment on somebody else."
