Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special Date: Trailer Incites SPOILERS and RUMORS About the Air Date of the Highly Anticipated Doctor Who Premiere [TRAILER]

Doctor Who fans are in for several surprises during the November 23rd air time of the 50th Anniversary special of Doctor Who that will premiere on the BBC. The BBC  has elected to air the 50th Anniversary special at the same time in the UK and US because they want to make sure there are no spoilers out on the Internet to ruin it for any viewers. With that in mind, many of the spoilers that are floating around the Internet are clearly false; this special episode is one of the most secure episodes on television right now.

The episode, titled "Day of the Doctor," is set to air on November 23rd 2013. There are a few spoilers that we know for sure are true. The tenth and eleventh doctors, David Tennant and Matt Smith, will be in the episode and John Hurt, who will play an older incarnation of the Doctor, will perhaps join them.

Two of the Doctor's companions will be featured on the episode, Jenna Coleman and Billie Piper, but it isn't clear what roles they will play in the 50th Anniversary Special.

The only statement that BBC America has released about the special episode is that it will be "a celebration for long-time fans and an opportunity for those new to the series to jump onboard."

BBC has, however, released a ton of photographs of the 50th Anniversary Special which can be seen on the official Doctor Who website.
