'Dishonored 2' Trailer: EGX 2016 To Hold Game’s Worldwide Debut? [WATCH]

Along with talks that EGX 2016 will host Arkane Studio's "Dishonored 2" worldwide debut, Arkane Studios co-creatve director Harvey Smith also talked what players can expect from the game.

In an interview wih PC Gamer, Smith said that they wanted to bring back the things that were loved in "Dishonored 1," such as the stealth, the first-person combat, and the supernatural powers, mong others.

Smith added that they had also wanted to readdress things players had wanted to see, along with ticket items, such as big themes for the levels. A case in point is the Clockwork Mansion, which is comparable to a house puzzle. As per Smith, it can be refigured and manipulated by the player to go unnoticed and engage with combat.

The director also expalined how they compensated various factors affecting the game, such as the stealth factors. He explained that producing the game involves a lot of work and they had to put themselves in a player's shoes.

"When I moved to the world and I have the sense that there were other decisions i could have made and other way i could have done, it in itself is a dramatic kind of experience," he said. He added that part of it was they applied that as the Arkane philosophy.
