'Diablo 4' Release Date, News & Rumors: Blizzard Not To Reveal Diablo 4 At BlizzCon 2016?

The Blizzcon 2016 schedule on Nov. 4 and 5 has been getting a lot of buzz lately owing to the rumors about it being the launchpad of the "Diablo 4" release date and reveal.

Three years have passed since the "Diablo 3" was released so naturally, fans have been lapping up all the reports out there regarding the alleged impending launch date.

The buzz only got louder when the developer posted job listings for senior animator, senior concept artist, animator, senior VFX artist and senior character artist. People took that to mean that Blizzard is working on "Diablo 4."

Apparently, some of its core team transferred to the very popular "World of Warcraft: Legion."

But Blizzard then clarified that the job postings were meant for the vacuum left behind due to the exodus of personnel, including "Diablo 3" director Josh Mosqueira himself.

To date, however, Blizzard has not confirmed anything about the 'Diablo 4" release date and reveal at the BlizzCon 2016 schedule. At this point, it could very well be that the developer is working on expanding "Diablo 3" rather than working on an entirely new storyline.

Previously, iTechPost reported that a "Diablo 4" announcement on the BlizzCon 2016 is highly unlikely precisely because of the mass transfer of its core personnel. Even if the developer manages to complete the team, it would still be short of time to make it to the BlizzCon.

Watch out for more news on the "Diablo 4" release date and reveal, and whether or not there's truth to the rumors about its launch to coincide with the BlizzCon 2016 schedule.
