Fans of NBC's daytime soap opera series 'Days of Our Lives' may be seeing some intense action in the next set of episodes, as John has finally slipped out from his coma on Wednesday's episode.

On the said episode, John snaps out of his coma just as Theresa was about to inject him with some drug to prevent him from waking up.

It can be remembered that the character fell into coma after a desperate and angry Theresa hit him with a fire poker while they were discussing Theresa's intentions with Brady.

When the police came, Theresa covered her own crime by saying that John and Brady engaged in a brawl that caused John to be in coma. Brady, who was drunk during the incident, believed Theresa's claim that he was responsible for his father's condition.

Theresa's actions lead her to the desire to prevent John from waking up. Although Theresa has failed with her intention, she found out that John woke up and could not remember the night of the accident.

When John woke up, he had no idea why he ended up in a hospital, but he remembered meeting Theresa at her apartment. He also told Maxine that he seemed to have a dream that he could not remember.

"It was something really bad," said John.

With a fear that John might end up remembering what actually happened, Theresa convinced Brady not to tell John about how he got ended up being hospitalized. Brady agreed to Theresa, although he was wondering why she was persistent about it.

Meanwhile, in another storyline, JJ may be confronting Eve in the show soon.

Reports say that there might be a confrontation seen between JJ and his girlfriend's mother, Eve.

It was recently shown that Eve hired a woman to seduce JJ, so Paige would break up with him, and go to a university. Although the woman succeeded in making Paige doubt JJ's loyalty, the couple later learned that it was all just a scheme by Eve.

'Days of Our Lives' airs on NBC from Monday to Friday.
