Several reports claim that Alison Sweeney, who plays Sami Brady, will leave the daytime soap, 'Days of Our Lives', while Michael Muhney assumes the role of EJ DiMera in the series.

Rumors have been circulating for months about Sami Brady's (Alison Sweeney) exit from 'Days of Our Lives' as she has reportedly been cast in another soap opera, 'General Hospital'.

On that note, Celebrity Dirty Laundry apparently found out the exact date of her departure from the sudser, and it's coming up shortly. Sami Brady will supposedly be written out of the show after the October 30 episode of 'Days of our Lives'.

Fans can recall that Brady has gone through a lot in the past seasons of 'Days of Our Lives'. First, she discovers that her husband EJ DiMera cheated on her.

Then both Sami and Kate plot to put down DiMera Enterprises while Sami learns that her husband was murdered. Now, she has to face the consequences of what she and Kate have done while taking over the corporation.

While Sami is still coping with EJ's death, 'Days of Our Lives' episodes this week will show that her partner-in-crime Kate is actually trying to slap her back to reality and tell her that she is about to go to prison if she doesn't clear the issue up.

Apparently, Sami was digitally recorded while she and Kate plotted against DiMera Enterprises. This forces Kate to call for back up and ask the help of Victor Kiriakis who tries to straighten things out.

Victor is a man of "shady character," proven by his devious operations in Salem, so he is deemed fit for the task. Victor will reportedly help her out and give her fake IDs, passports, and a clean slate where she could renew her and her children's lives.

From the looks of it, Sami's final appearance will end up as a plan to escape from her crimes.

Beyond that, other exciting news involves another soap opera- 'The Young and the Restless'. Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports that Michael Muhney, former Y&R star, is rumored to be playing the role of Sami's husband who supposedly shot and killed in Salem Park.
