'Dancing With The Stars' 2016 Cast, Season 22 Premiere: Ballroom Dancer Witney Carson Talks Von Miller’s Rehearsal Performance

Along with the revelation of the celebrity cast of ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" season 22, professional Latin and ballroom dancer Witney Carson has also talked about the progress of Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller.

Carson is Miller's partner in "Dancing With the Stars" season 22 and she teased that the Broncos linebacker was fast at picking up the dance moves. In her interview with Entertainment Tonight, Carson revealed that Miller was great on choreography, adding that he was an amazing student, which she loved because she got to boss a big football player around.

The "So You Think You Can Dance" season 9 second runner-up also said that she was super excited; however, she found it slightly scary, as there were two other athletes around. She also told the publication that she and Miller would be dancing the foxtrot, which she pointed out as "not a normal foxtrot." Carson said that it was "kind of" a little more pop-y and it was going to be good, as it showed his personality and his dance moves.

For the professional dancer, she and Miller had just got to make the latter stand out.

Miller also had some jokes about his dance rehearsals with Carson. On Mar. 8, the linebacker took to Instagram a photo of his mentor and in caption, he wrote that he was super excited to work with the latter, adding that she was the "toughest Middle Linebacker" he had ever danced with.

Miller is not the first football athlete to join "Dancing With the Stars," since previous seasons saw Hines Ward and Emmitt Smith dance their way to the finale and bring home the Mirror Ball trophy, as per International Business Times. In season 22, the Broncos linebacker is set to compete against Pittsburgh Steelers Antonio Brown and previous quarterback Doug Flute, with Sharna Burgess and Karina Smirnoff as their partners, respectively.

"Dancing With the Stars" season 22 is set to air on Mar. 21 on ABC.
