Daft Punk Album & Tour 2013: Not Performing Live in Wee Waa, Australia on May 17, Only Streaming Album?

The electronic dance duo is now releasing information and select dates for Daft Punk's 2013 tour.

The duo have selected Wee Waa, Australia as the location to kick off their world tour.  Daft Punk will perform at the Wee Waa Showground on the night of May 17 in an event that will also be streamed online to an international audience.

Recent news is though that Daft Punk will not actually be performing a live concert in Wee Waa but only playing music videos and streaming the full album which is streaming online worldwide as well.

So it is not sure whether members, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, will actually be there in person in Wee Waa or not.

This would be big news to know as hardcore Daft Punk fans might have been looking to make their way to Australia for the big kick off event of their "tour".

Daft Punk's new album Random Access Memories is due out May 21st on Columbia Records.
