Before the latest episode of "Criminal Minds" airs on the CBS network tonight, fans of the show are worried that one of the series regular characters might be killed off in next month's two-part season finale episode.

In the "Angels" episode (airing on May 7) the Behavioral Analysis Unit crew will first discover that prostitutes are being murdered by a religious cult. The "Demons" episode (broadcasting on May 14) will continue where the upcoming "Angels" episode left off.

According to a press release revealed by CBS, in the Season Finale episode titled "Demons," Behavioral Analysis Unit technical specialist Penelope Garcia (played by actress Kirsten Vangsness) may not survive when the last episode of the season will broadcasts in two weeks.

Garcia will try to save her co-worker from impeding danger from a murdering spree targeting prostitutes in Texas. However, when she realizes that the motives behind the mass killings, her life is also in jeopardy.

Behavioral Analysis Unit Section Chief Mateo Cruz (played by actor Esai Morales of "La Bamba" fame) returns for the Season Finale to help the rest of the crew put a stop to the serial killers responsible for these crimes.

In tonight's "Fatal" episode, David Rossi (played by actor Joe Mantegna of "The Godfather Part III" and "The Simpsons" fame) discovers a deranged murderer is sending people letters. In addition, in the video for tonight's episode, the murder is poisoning people's food and water supply.

"Criminal Minds" first-part Season finale episode titled "Angels" will air on May 7, 2014, while the two-part "Demons" episode of the Season Finale will air on May 14, 2014.
