Covenant Worship is set to release a new album entitled "Take Heart" this year.

According to a press release, Covenant Worship's "Take Heart" is inspired by Jesus' "Farewell Sermon" in the Gospel of John 16:33, which says "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

"Take Heart" is recorded at Covenant's yearly worship arts conference last fall and it features pastors David Binion and Nicole Binion, as well as team members Joshua DuFrene and Colin Edge. They co-penned the songs in the album and in the group's former albums, such as "Standing" and "Kingdom."

David explained the underlying theme of "Take Heart," as per The Christian Beat. In a statement, he said that in the Old Testament, Moses had been instructed to write a song and teach it to his children and his children's children so that they would have remembered what God had said.

David also mentioned that as people searched the scriptures for inspiration, they leaned it to hear what God was saying, then they translated it to music to make it easy to remember. He added that if the world had ever needed to hear the voice of God, it certainly did in the season. For the former pastor, God was always speaking and it was up to the people to listen.

Covenant Worship is the Dallas music ministry area based multi-cultural and multi-generational Covenant church. Its album, "Take Heart," will be available as a 14-track physical album and 16-track digital album. It includes a physical songbook and a CD-ROM digital songbook.

Covenant Worship's "Take Heart" album and songbook will be available globally on Feb. 26.
