Well beloved country stars have always lifted up their faith in their music but in this day and age where speaking of God automatically puts you in a box some in the country music scene have refused to contain their beliefs.

In a recent interview with FOX411 country icon Reba McEntire, who is arguably one of the most adored red heads in entertainment whether on television or singing, she unashamedly admitted that God is a very intricate part of her life.

"[Faith] guides me on everything I do," McEntire FOX411, "I ask for guidance, I ask the Lord to give me wisdom when I speak, when I think and I always try to be positive and say nice things and it gives me strength throughout every minute and every day."

Like McEntire, mega Country star Carrie Underwood who has gone on to gain massive success and several accolades after winning American Idol, has not stopped preaching Christ in her music. Her latest single "Something in the Water" is a testament to that.

"I'm not the first person to sing about God, Jesus, faith (or) any of that, and I won't be the last," she said in a recent interview with NBC's Today Show, "And it won't be the last for me, either. If you don't like it, change the channel."

God is not just someone the females in country are clinging to, power couple Keith Urban and his wife, actress Nicole Kidman, recently performed "Amazing grace" that was seen on a cell phone video that went viral.

The two visited Monash Children's Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, in the suburbs of Australia, last year and sung the popular Christian hymn in one of the wards for the children and staff who were noticeably appreciative.
