Country Singer Dolly Porton’s Unreleased Songs In A Time Capsule To Be Heard In 2046

Country music star Dolly Parton, 70, revealed that she had put an unreleased track into a time capsule, which would not be released until about three decades from present.

Parton disclosed that the capsule is set to be opened in celebration of the 100th birthday. In her interview with Today Show, the country singer said that what they were going to put in the capsule was little pieces from her childhood.

The "I Will Always Love You" singer referred to memories like the porch where she had used to sit and sing with a tin can for a microphone and the song entitled "My Place in History," which she had written this year. She said that she was going to open the capsule when she was 100.

When Parton said that if she was not around by her 100th birthday, Today Show host Willie Geist replied that she would be "here." Parton said that she would not be surprised, as she laughed.

Aside from "I Will Always Love You" in 1974, Parton is also known for her music in songs like "In th Good Old Days (When Times Were Bad)" (1969), "Jolene" (1974), "9 to 5" (1980), "Eagle When She Flies" (1991), and "Backwoods Barbie" (2008), among others.

Not much is known about the unreleased track, according to Tech Times. However, an exception was the lyric saying, "I hope I've earned it and hope you still remember me."

For the time being, the time capsule is set to be buried within the grounds of Dollywood, a Parton-inspired theme park cradled in Knoxville Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge, Tenn.
