‘Country Faith Hymns’ Album To Feature Two Versions; Set For May 6 Release

The "Country Faith Hymns," the third album under the Country Faith music series, will feature two versions when it will be released online, as well as Walmart and Barnes & Nobles' shelves, on May 6.

The first album will have 12 songs, while the other version will have two extra songs but will only be available exclusively to 630 Cracker Barrel restaurants across the US.

"Country Faith Hymns," produced by Bob DeMoss, WILDFIRE7, Dusty Wells and Deborah Evans Price, will feature legendary artists such as Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Brad Paisley and Wade Hayes.

Price said in a statement that people will really find comfort in the songs featured in "Country Faith Hymns," not to mention wax nostalgic from the timeless tracks.

"There's something so comforting and inspiring about these timeless songs," she said. "On Country Faith Hymns, you'll hear the most compelling legacy and contemporary voices in Country Music delivering songs that have become part of the soundtrack of our lives."

She added, "I'm especially excited about Wade Hayes' new recording of 'Just As I Am.' I've been a fan of Wade's for a long time and am so grateful he's sharing this song with us. It moves me every time I listen."

The Country Faith series not only produces recording, but also books, jewelry merchandise and concerts. To date, the brand already sold more than $1.4 million in retail.

For his part, Hayes could hardly contain his excited in contributing to the "Country Faith Hymns."

"'Just As I Am' has been a favorite of mine since I was a child growing up at Lake View Church of Christ in my hometown in Oklahoma. It seemed like the perfect choice for me to record," he said.
