Christian singer and former 'American Idol' contestant Colton Dixon just released his new single "More of You" off of upcoming album Anchor.

The song has a very big feel, hitting on pop elements while also injecting a bit of that Mumford & Sons style of indie rock.

The video switches between Dixon singing and a play production with kids and a lead actor. It takes place in heaven and works its way down into the ocean.

According to the views, comments, and thumbs up on YouTube, the fans love the new track.

Anchor will be released on August 19. It is the followup to his first album A Messenger, which was the top selling record by a new Christian artist last year.

With the success of his first album, he received a three Dove Award nomination. He won for Best Contemporary/Rock Album, and was nominated for Male Artist of the Year at the K-LOVE Fan Awards 2014.

"I'm very excited, it's kind of a stiff bracket with people like Chris Tomlin and Matthew West...TobyMac. All these people I grew up listening to so it's sort of like woah...I'm the young one in the group so I appreciate the nomination. I'm just really honored to be in the same bracket. It's cool," Dixon said last month about the K-LOVE nomination to BC.
