Cleveland Kidnapping Victim Michelle Knight Forgives Tormentor Ariel Castro After He Caused Her 5 Miscarriages By Savage Beatings

Michelle Knight, one of the kidnapped victims from Ariel Castro's house of horrors revealed in a new interview that she forgives the man who abducted and tortured her, along with two other girls, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, for over a decade.

"If I did something wrong, even if it was a small thing, I would want somebody to forgive me, so I can forgive him for what he (has) done wrong, because that's the way of life," said Knight to TODAY's anchor Savannah Guthrie in a recent interview. "He was a human being, and every human being needs to be loved, even though they did something wrong."

She was 21 years old when Castro snatched her and took her to his house in August 2002 and sexually assaulted her for almost 11 years before she and the other victims were rescued by Charles Ramsey on May 6, 2013.

Castro committed suicide on September 3, 2013 when he hanged himself inside his jail cell after receiving a "life plus 1,000 years" sentence for his heinous crimes committed inside his basement.

"I was saddened by it but also confused at the same time," said Knight recalling her reaction when she heard the news he killed himself last year. "Like, why would he hurt his children like that? Why would he leave them?"

Castro previously revealed to Cuyahoga County Judge Michael Russo last year that his porn obsession was the source of the problems in his life.

"My addiction to pornography and my sexual problem has taken a toll on my mind. I was victim as a child, and it just kept going," said Castro to Judge Russo.

Knight also revealed in the interview that she saw first-hand the depravity of Castro's mind and desires.

"He was obsessed with prostitutes," said Knight on the TODAY interview. "He thought the whole thing that he was doing was normal."

Knight is now telling her life story in a new book titled "Finding Myself" and she revealed she has moved on from the terrible ordeal.

"I would want everybody to know I'm doing just fine, and everything is really exciting right now," said Knight who has now changed her name to Lillian "Lilly" Rose Lee. "It's just an awesome life right now."
