'Civilization 6' Release Date, News: 2K Games Unveils Extended Trailer For New Game

News of the release date for the "Civilization 6" has already been announced to be on Oct. 21. Now, publisher 2K has just dropped the extended trailer for the highly anticipated game.

What makes the "Civilization 6" trailer more epic was Sean Bean, who plays Ed Stark in "Game of Thrones," being the narrator.

According to the news article from PCGamer, the clip for "Civilization 6" is quite impressive, enhanced by the theme song "Sogno di Volare" which literally translates to "dream of flying." It was composed by Christopher Tin, who also composed "Baba Yetu" or "Our Father."

The game also paid tribute to Sean Bean, who almost always dies in the movies and television shows. Although his death is not explicit in the clip, there are hints about being killed like the one during an aerial dogfight, for instance.

There's even better news than Sean Bean going through many lifetimes in the "Civilization 6" trailer, and that's the fact that you can preload the game in your PC if you pre-order it through Steam. Of course, you can't start playing before the Oct. 21 release date.

The plot of the sixth installment of one of the most popular turn-based strategies reads:

"Civilization is a turn-based strategy game in which you attempt to build an empire to stand the test of time. Become Ruler of the World by establishing and leading a civilization from the Stone Age to the Information Age."

We will report more "Civilization 6" news when they come along. Meanwhile, you can watch the trailer below.
